Trees don't like leaves...
Trees hate them...
Trees want to be bare, naked...
Trees want their branches to look like huge claws pointing to the sky...
Trees want to look like delicate hands trying to reach the stars...
Trees like fall...
Just another mediocre water color painting I made...
the lines of the tree are very graceful, i like the general style you painted it in. i do think that the background could be a bit more interesting, but the tree makes a great focal point of the piece, so it's not too harmful
It's always like that- in retrospect, there are always some small things that c/should be changed
I must say that I find water colour paintings increasingly interesting these days; i never knew just how much tonal modeling is possible, and always thought it was a child's version of "real" paints but i'm starting to reconsider that, due to your work here, and also because of crazymynd's work- [link] - i don't know if you have seen his gallery ?
Now it's time for August 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it! Fave Fave Fave! My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations. Artists need to be supported. So don't be shy!
Here's the Menu per Category :
Digital Paintings & Drawings | Mixed Media | PhotoManipulations | 3-Dimensional | Vector & Vexels | Photography | Traditional Paintings & Drawings | Artisan Crafts
